This took me a week to paint, done with Gimp and Wacom Intous.

My dear Alice,
It's been 6 months since we've last seen each other, and I miss you more than I did the day I heard the news. I love you beyond imaginable, and I want to thank you. Thank you for being so gentle, so loving, for being proud of me, and for introducing me to art. You were talented with everything you've done, each piece signed with pride. Without you, who knows what I would be doing. You hung up every painting i made you, even the ones from my childhood, and one regret is never showing you any of my current work. Losing you was a huge shock, and it tore off a huge part of me, but I will never forget the last moments we had together. It hurts that i can't see, feel, or hear you but someday we will meet again. Please keep being proud of me, and watch out for me cause I'm so lost in this world.
